Julia Felton, aka The Business Wrangler, is the Herd Leader at Business Horse Power Ltd, training and development company dedicated to supporting businesses with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow and become more productive and profitable. Julia has a 25 plus year proven track record in business with companies like Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. This extensive background in business enables makes her a master translator when running her workshops with horses as she can easily translate what is happening in the barn back to the boardroom so that clients can readily appreciate the practical application of the business lessons they experience.

Always a pioneer, Julia became an intrapreneur, whilst in the corporate world, and created and grew a multi-million dollar business that became the market leader it is field, trail blazing the way for web-based big data solutions in the hospitality industry, at a time when the internet was in its infancy.  Subsequently this business was sold and so Julia is uniquely positioned to have seen a business through the entire growth life cycle.  Additionally, she led her team through the Andersen Deloitte transaction and so appreciates the challenges of keeping a team engaged whilst leading through uncertainty. A lifelong learner with a passion for business Julia loves sharing her expertise and knowledge with others in order to help them achieve success and unleash their hidden potential.

Julia is an accredited Strategy On A Page facilitator and Talent Dynamics consultant, as well as a Master Coach and member of the association of Women in Coaching. She is also a HorseDream Partner and qualified member of the EAHAE. She holds a BSc in Hospitality Management and Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing

On A Personal Note

A secret cowgirl at heart Julia lives in Yorkshire with her herd of four rescue horses, although she is as at home in the business world as she is on a horse rounding up cattle!  Although she loves speaking and delivering workshops from stage, she particularly loves facilitating and hosting workshops at the barn with her horses, which she describes as a magical place where life-long transformation occurs. There is something about the power of horses and being in nature that just shifts people to another space, one where they become more self-aware and connected to themselves and others.

One thing that you might not know about Julia is that she is a qualified safari-guide and lived in the African Bush for five months, so she loves all things Africa and this is where her passion for the natural world grew from. It was whilst living in the African Bush that Julia fully begun to understand how much there is that we can learn from nature that can help us create highly performance businesses.
